Built between 1976 and 1978, the Esprit S1 gained fame in 1977 in the James Bond film 'The Spy Who Loved Me'. The 907 2.0 Lotus engine produced 160bhp with the car weighing under 1000kg.
The Esprit S2 was built between 1978 and 1981 with styling update. The S2.2 was the first car to feature the 912 2.2 Lotus engine and a galvanised chassis.
