Lotus Elan ('62-73) 4 Piston big brake kit for all Elan S1, S2, S3, S4 and Sprint models (not Elan Plus 2).

Our brake kits are designed to offer a modern performance and pedal feel for safer day to day driving in modern traffic as well as spirited fast road driving and track use. People often ask us the question about originality, especially on classic cars. Our simple reply is that brakes can always be reverted back to original should an owner choose but the lack of braking performance in a critical situation may result in a situation where a car may suffer damage that will truly lose the originality of the car. It's the first thing we update on any of our personal cars. 

This kit includes 240mm vented plain discs, 4 piston calipers, braided hoses, bolt kit and fitting instructions. The powerful 4 piston calipers are available in a range of anodised colours (see options) and require very little maintenance over a lifetime. 

There is a choice of pads depending on your needs ranging from a standard EBC road pad to an improved performance EBC Green pad or Mintex fast road pad. We can usually source other pads if required, please contact us for availability.

Due to the large number of options available, all our brake kits are made to order.

The calipers take between 3-5 weeks to manufacture so delivery time is typically between 3-6 weeks for a brake kit.
