A dump valve is an air pressure bypass valve that is placed between the turbo compressor and the throttle.
Dump valves are generally fitted to improve emissions, fuel economy and driveability.
Fitting a Dump Valve can help achieve higher boost levels, reducing stress on the turbine allowing a better throttle response.
