ESPRIT 300MM 4 PISTON CALIPER REAR BRAKE KIT (FOR 16" WHEELS OR LARGER)
Rear brake kit for the Lotus Esprit (Fits all Esprit '88 onwards with 16" or larger rear wheels).
Does not fit cars with 15" rear wheels.
Our rear brake upgrade kit uses vented 300mm discs (standard discs used on later S4 and V8 models) and 4 piston calipers for all cars with 16'' wheels and above improving the efficiency of the system allowing spirited fast road driving.
The 300mm kit includes discs, calipers, brackets, hoses and bolt kit and fitting instructions.
The calipers do have a built in handbrake. This handbrake will pass a UK MOT but is not as efficient as the original handbrake. It was a solution found to enable a race style caliper to be fitted to the rear of an Esprit. We do have an additional option of Wilwood spot calipers if a high performance handbrake is required.
Due to the large number of options available, all our brake kits are made to order.
Manufacture is usually 3-5 weeks so delivery time is typically 4-6 weeks for upgrade brakes.
